If the lens can't be located and the Flickr account is hopelessly locked this lofty and ambitious project could well be dead.

We hopefully have a sighting of the lens and if not then there will be a substitution made for the original, I have contacted LegacyB4 who was the original creator of the Flickr account so he should be able to reset the password if it has been changed or if its forgotten to put a new one in and asked him to forward it along. We are still trying to keep the project moving along don't worry about that

it had actually been to two more people on the list since I last updated the list of people that have had it. The lens made it to a third person where it has gone MIA for the time being we are working on replacement or getting it going again. So techincally its been to 10 people

Naah, it's ok It's just that I did a search on my name to retrieve the post.
That's why it was in red. So no problem!

I just hope that the lens will be retrieved. Anyone has a huge Xray to scan mi2nc's house
and help him retrieve the lens?

I think we should make some rules.. I know it's not allways easy to take
nice pictures at any time, that we don't allways have the time to take them.
And in addition, it may be difficult to get to the post office. (In France, they're closed at
5PM.. if you work, it's hard to get there on time!)
But maybe we should apply a maximum time of 2 weeks between reception date
and 'send' date? (even 2 weeks is a lot I think... 1week 1/2?)

Otherwise, this project will last 10 years before it will end
And as some say, it will loose its interest.

I wanted to update the list of people which I have done to include the new people that have posted recently.We are going to continue the travels of the NiftyFifty with my lens taking the place of our wayward lens. I would however like to place some suggestions about the lens

1) since this is a travel log of the lens I think one of the shots should be a location shot i.e. your cities welcome sign or something like that

2) that the thread is updated with when you are shipping the lens out and to whom it is going, and if possible letting us know it gets there as well

3)That when you have taken pictures that we update the Flicr account something that has been lacks because the password went missing but I have it so when you are have the lens email me and I will give you the password

4) I would like if possible to keep the lens moving so would like to limit it to a 2 week max per holder I am hoping that the lens will make it you Europe sometime in June?

I will be sending the lens out to someone in Canada within the next few days and will post when I ship it. Please feel free to comment and make suggestions. Think this is a good 1000th post
