AF360 off camera w/K200D

I just purchased the AF360 and will be using it with the K200D. I want to use the flash remotely (slave?), to back light a subject, and cant figure how to set it up. Do I need anything other than the flash and the camera to make this set up work?

If you can step me through making this work, I would greatly appreciate the help.

Your K200D and AF360 flash can be used in wireless mode. Instructions can be found in the on line manual, beginning on page 137.

The thing to remember is like a TV remote, the camera flash and remote flash must see each other.

No, you don't need anything else.

Turn on AF360FGZ flash unit to the 'W' (wireless) position, rather than 'On'.
Wireless mode must be set to 'S' (slave)

On your K200D, raise the built-in flash and change the flash mode to Wireless ('W-lightning bolt') via Fn + D-pad-down

These are the main things. Hopefully both camera and flash are still on channel 1.

Another variable is whether the on-body flash contributes to exposure ('M' - master) or is controller only ('C'). In either case, the remote flash should still be fired. There is a custom setting that switches between the two.
