Not any more than any other camera. The price is a bit steeper than other choices, but the basic operation is all the same. To that end, I would suggest going with a less expensive body to start.
Save that extra cash for better lenses if you should decide to stick with it.

The lenses should last a long long time, so your investment in lenses should be usable long after the current body seems like a child's toy.

Unless a new body has specific options you cannot do without, you will generally get more significant increase in results with better lenses than you will with a hyped up camera body.

Hello,

The operation of most digital cameras is pretty much the same. You can begin by shooting in full auto and then as you become familiar with the camera and photographic principles you would use the less auto modes where you would have some input into the exposure settings used. Buying good lenses is sound advice as they can go on cameras you purchase later. I would add though that unlike film cameras, when you buy a DSLR, you buy the image quality and resolution. So I would not under cut the body purchase and then in a year find your self wanting more camera. The K-7 is a nice camera.
