SMC Pentax A lenses on K-7?

I have a 120 mm Macro Pentax A, and a 35 mm Pentax A for my 645 camera and I'm considering getting a K-7. I suspect these lenses wouldn't fit a K-7, but is there some way they can be adapted to use on the K-7? I'm assuming these lenses are not weather sealed, so would loose that functionality. I love that 120 mm Macro and am saving my pennies for a 645D some day.

With the Pentax 645 to K adapter they will fit on the K-7, but the A-function is lost, and if your lenses are FA, autofocus is lost as well. They will feel heavy, certainly the 120mm, but the 645 A 35mm, which I tried on the K-x, blows most small format lenses out of the water and the 120mm has been reported to have similar outstanding results on Pdigital. Obviously, I certainly did not try all of them! I don't expect to do it often myself.
You are assuming these lenses are not sealed ? Almost sounds like you do not have them yet.

check out our lens database to see the adapter is needed- it'll be in the 645 section: Pentax Lens Review Database - Lens Listings

If you're willing to carry the extra weight, you won't be disappointed optically!

Hello,

I am sorry, we no longer carry the 645 adapter.

I did find this Owners Manual from Pentax in a PDF. I hope it helps.
