Loose rubber grip

Hi!

Would you happen to sell any particular product that could cure the following problem: On one of my zoom lenses, the rubber grip (for controlling the zoom) is quite loose (on the SMC 400-600mm reflex lens).

Is there any kind of tape or glue that I could safely use?

Thanks for any help or pointing me in any direction (and I apologize if you've already been asked this too often).

Hello,

I would have the lens repaired professionally. Unfortunately we do not do camera repairs. The manufacturer is always the best place to look for repair services.

To contact Pentax directly;

Rubber cement from an office supply store. Don't use too much on it.

Thank you for all the suggestions.

My first choice (over hair spray, which I don't have, or rubber cement, which I'd worry about spreading) would be to try a repair service, so thanks, Chuck, for the two places (which I'm cutting and pasting into a file).

Pentax doesn't support older lenses. At least I never had a reply from the Pentax site about the sticky aperature blades for my 300A*f/4.
