I just purchased a pristine Asahi Pentax S1a, and would like to get a "retro" bag for it. Nothing huge, just big enough for the camera, a few rolls of film, and a few Takumars..is there such a thing made these days? Something that looks like it came from the 1960s..

I'm very much in the same boat right now. When I moved into my apartment, the previous tenant left behind him a dozen or so cheap Kodak land cameras in one of the closets (none of which have any value). One of them though was in a rather neat, messenger-style leather bag. It's not big but it doesn't have to be since I only ever take a film camera with one lens with me. Unfortunately, the bag is tearing open at its seams now so I need a replacement.

I've looked at every single bag that B&H has on offer. All of them are ugly and utilitarian.

I've now started looking specifically for land camera bags on ebay and this looks much more promising. Something like this for example already although I'm more looking for a messenger-style thing than a case.

Anyway, I think what you are looking for can most likely not be found in a store.

The Domke F803 Waxwear Camera Satchel (Brown) is a multi-use satchel made to carry various types of imaging equipment. It is made of water-resistant canvas material coated with waxes and oils; the fabric produces a unique distressed and weathered look. The satchel has two interior compartments.
