Cheaper shipping to EU.

Currently the cheapest shipping option to EU/LV is 51$. Are there any other shipping options that i might have missed?

I'm asking because you're selling some really nice and small accessories that are not worth much, but cant be purchased anywhere else.

For 5..20$ items i'd be willing to give up insurance, high quality packaging, return and warranty options without any reserve, if they could be shipped for a reasonable price.

E.g. simple bubble wrapper envelope and even if something goes wrong, still a completely positive feedback from my side, at shipping rate 5..10$.

Is anything like this possible?

Hello,

I am very sorry, but our stated shipping costs are our available choices for your destination and we do not offer "no insurance" or "simple bubble wrapper envelope" options.

" Like any retailer shipping products from country to country, we have basically two options:

1) We can drop your merchandise in an envelope, slap a few stamps on it, and cross our fingers it'll reach its intended destination at some unpredictable, untrackable point in the future if all goes well, the winds blow gently and the gods smile on our endeavors, or

2) We can operate a state-of-the-art computer-controlled warehouse/inventory/shipping system which assures you and the retailer that we know what's in stock, that every order is fulfilled correctly and efficiently and that merchandise you order reaches you in pristine condition, as quickly as possible.

We've chosen option two and the result is internat'l shipping expenses are higher than they would be had we selected option one. Our shipping system has to accommodate both the strap you want and the delicate camera or lens the next customer wants. it has to accommodate the small, one filter order and the larger two cameras and three lenses orders. It has to accommodate shipping to Chicago and London."

FWIW, we have begun a new "Internat'l Business Initiative," and no small part of that is to try to identify less expensive but equally reliable shipping options. We're mindful of the current situation and are not ignoring feedback like this. We appreciate that shipping one or two small inexpensive items across the globe is not inexpensive and we will do everything we able to in order to ameliorate this situation.

BUT, we will always opt for reliability over lower prices if that's the only either-or option facing us.
