K-7 update

Does anyone have an idea when Pentax might release an updated K-7?

The updated K-7 was released in November.

Personally i would have like to have seen the Kx and K7 stay in the lineup. a 4 body system would have a better chance of gaining brick an mortar traction

Rich, on the off chance you mean a firmware update, version 1.11 is available from the Pentax web site - don't know the release date.

The k-x is still in production, and the k-7 hasn't been discontinued officially either

they are on Pentax Japan site Adam

I imagine they will stay live on the america sites until inventory is depleted to protect the price

but like i said i think there is room for all four models in a growth strategy
