Wood's Glass UV filter good buy! (but)

I recently purchased your 2" Rosco Wood's Glass filter for $8.95. It was delivered promptly in good condition. It has the transmission characteristics of a Wood's Glass filter, and will be excellent for my UV photography purposes.

But it isn't made of Wood's Glass, which is a dark purple Nickle Oxide containing glass; rather, it is a dichroic dielectric interference filter. This mislabeling is not your fault; I checked Rosco's website before purchasing and indeed they say it is a Wood's Glass filter!

Maybe you could change your ad copy to something like "an interference filter with transmission characteristics like Wood's Glass".

PS I will also contact Rosco. I posted this message to you so other Pentax forum users might know of this valuable filter (and its incidental mislabeling.) If it were sold as a precision interference filter (which it is), it'd likely cost 5-10 times as much!
