Could B&H help me? (RMA issue)

About a couple of months ago, I purchased a Zeiss 85mm ZK from B&H and had it delivered to a friend in USA who would then bring it to me to Singapore so that I could save on the shipping. Incidentally, I've made the order much earlier than he would be coming to Singapore (just a few days ago) because Zeiss has discontinued the ZK line of lenses and I reckon B&H is probably holding the last remaining pieces in the market.

I was really having fun with the lens these couple of days but to my horror, I discovered that something is not quite right - I saw numerous minute white spots/bubbles, spread evenly inside the lens. I am suspecting it it due to lens separation or bad adhesive/coating?

Unfortunately, the RMA period for the purchase is over. But I really hate to send an otherwise brand new purchase to the service centre for repairs. May I know if B&H would be kind enough to issue me an RMA form to exchange for another copy of the lens? I apologize if I am asking too much here but I would appreciate deeply if B&H could help me with it.
