Delivery Options

I am ready to order a Pentax DA* 60-250 lens but need an answer to the following question. According to B&H delivery options, none of them allow for pickup if delivery attempt fails because no one is available to sign. There is no way I can guarantee someone will be at the shipping address to sign. What happens if delivery cannot take place? How many attempts are made? I do believe FedEx has Centers for pickup if delivery cannot be made. I need to know for sure and it is not a matter of cost, it is a matter of being sure delivery completed somehow.

Hello,

This is usually up to the carrier locally. They almost always will make several attempt and leave you a notice they were there with additional options. You would have to check with them depending on the company ( UPS or FED EX ) that you choose.
