Pentax K30 Mirror Lock Up.

Hello,

We have received a few inquiries about this. I E-Mailed Pentax and I thought I would post the response here as well FYI !

Does the new K30 have mirror lock up ?

The K-30 does not have a dedicated Mirror Lock-Up function similar to the K-7 and K-5. However, selecting the 2-second Self Timer Mode automatically incorporates a mirror lock-up.

To clarify- you press the up button on the 4-way pad, which will automatically open the drive mode menu. From there you will be able to select self timer mode either by using the left and right arrow keys, or pressing the up key until the the 2s self-timer is shown.
