Pearstone D-LI109 Lithium-Ion Battery Pack (7.4V, 1050mAh)

Hi,
Just a general question about this battery. I've had it 10 months (bought from B&H) and it will no longer charge. I can buy a new one, but am wondering if this is usual...and if I should buy a different kind? My Pentax battery (bought about 11 months ago via B&H) is working just fine.

If they're not in frequent use or are stored in a discharged state, li-ion batteries (especially cheap ones) can lose their capacity fairly quickly. If your battery won't charge, then it's quite possible that it's broken for good
