Sigma 500/4.5 Canadian customer buying in the USA - warranty?

I know that the Canadian warranty on Sigma lenses (not all of them but the "top line" ones) have a 10 year warranty.

Is this applicable if I bought this lens from B & H in the USA?
What sort of warranty would you have?

Hello,

Our Sigma 500mm f/4.5 lens comes with a 1-Year Worldwide Warranty + 3-Year Extended USA Warranty.

According to Sigma USA:

Warranty protection offered by your 1 year America warranty and U.S.A. extended warranties where applicable. EX Lenses come with an additional 3 year extended warranty for a total of 4 years. For any product purchased after May 1, 2009, Non Ex Lenses come with an additional 2 year extended warranty for a total of 3 years. Cameras and Flashes come with only a 1 year international warranty. Sigma offers a 90 day warranty for factory refurbished products.

It is important to note that any Sigma extended warranty is valid only on purchases made by residents of the U.S.A. and purchased from an authorized Sigma U.S.A. dealer.
