Genuine m42 to K adapters: ETA?

Hi,

The genuine Pentax m42 to K-mount adapters have been listed as "back-ordered" for several months on your site. Do you have any idea if/when these will be back in stock? Or should I just resign myself to trying a 3rd-party adapter?

If it helps, from what I know Pentax has discontinued the adapter.

Thanks for the (bad) news Adam. Perhaps B&H should list it as discontinued instead of giving us false hope. In most discussions of third party adapters here, many people seem to favor the official adapters, so for the reasonable price B&H lists them at, it seemed like a no-brainer. Guess not.

Sorry for the delay, but I just heard back from Pentax:

The item is not discontinued but we are having difficulty securing inventory from Japan. We have contacted PENTAX Japan to see if he can get an update on availability. As soon as I get an update, I will pass on to you.
