Flash Compatability with Pentax K-3

I would like to know if the Sigma EF-610 DG Super is fully compatible with the P-TTL flash system of the Pentax K-3 ? I know it works well with older model Pentax cameras. I have been burned before, based on manufacturers claims, that proved to be less than accurate, I need some assurance before I purchase another flash.

Thanks,
Pentax Bob , a loyal customer

Hello,

I used many non-manufacturers flashes in the past and my results were similar to yours. While my experience with Sigma units was better than most, for "fully compatibility" I would suggest you stay with a Pentax unit. I am not in the position to test the 2 items and my results may not meet your needs. I am sorry I could not be more helpful but if you need it to work 100%, Pentax flashes are the best option.
