I am very much wanting to purchase the Sigma 10-20mm f/4-5.6 EX DC AF for Pentax from B&H Photo for the 399 price as it is on sale from 479. I did notice that it is backordered and while I understand that and I have no problem waiting a reasonable amount of time, I did have a few questions before I click "buy".

1. The estimation is 7-14 business days. Do many backorders exceed this estimation?
2. The price right now is why I want to buy the lens right now. If I click buy, I understand my card will not be charged until the lens is shipped to me, but if the lens cost goes up would I be charged more? (if lens goes back to 479 before the lens is shipped to me)
3. Is there anything else I should know about ordering from B&H? They seem very reputable but I am fairly new to the Glass scene and I don't want to make a bad investment.

1) To be honest, it varies depending on the manufacturer and their inventory. We see no reason why you would not get your order in a reasonable amount of time, but again, it's up to Sigma USA. FYI, we have a Used item [Used Cat.# 1096615], Condition "9" for $349.95.

2) If you place your order while the lens is priced at $399.00 [Instant Savings: $80.00] that is what you will be charged even if the price goes up when your order ships.
