is this what I need ?

Hi ,

I'm very interested in obtaining an Optic Meyer Trioplan 100mm f2.8 lens. It seems most on the market have the Exakta mount, with fewer having the M42 mount. The Exakta models also seem to be less expensive. I would be using this lens solely for close-up photography to appreciate the bokeh while wide open. Infinity focus is unimportant to me.

Before I spend $ on the lens, my question is, will this product on your website "FotodioX Exakta/Topcon Pro Lens Adapter for Pentax K-Mount Cameras" work to mount this particular lens on my Pentax K5.

Thank you for your help.

Hello,

Yes, but please be aware this adapter has a 1.4x Multi-Coated Focus Correction lens to adjust for infinity focus, the glass element can be removed for macro photography. See instructions here.
