Buying the Pentax K-3

Hi!
You guys at b&h have an awesome deal with the Pentax K-3 along with the battery grip for 796 $ and I was planning to buy it in your NY Superstore on my way home to my country in February ( I know, a bit overoptimistic to believe that the rebate would stay so long). Unfortunately, I can now read that the price is going to rise again after Dec 31. I suppose it's not only your store that is doing this, but Pentax themselves.
My question is if there is ANY kind of solution for me to get the camera to this price when I get to NY in February. You know, the taxes are really high when buying from other countries to my country and I'm on a rather small budget and can't afford something higher than this price, and gosh how I want that camera to hold my Pentax-lenses!
I know the question may be silly and stupid, but you'll never win if you don't try, and better fail trying than regret not trying at all!

Your best solution would be to purchase the K3 and ship it to someone in the US for safe keeping.
