Return Policy on Monitors?

I'm considering purchasing a LG Digital Cinema 31MU97-B 31" Widescreen LED Backlit IPS 4K Monitor

The only thing stopping me right now is that I've read some reviews where the colors are askew - one side looks more red, the other side looks less red. Other reviews say the color is great so I'm not sure if it's just a one-off problem or a design flaw.

What's the return policy on the monitor? Am I the sole arbiter of the monitor being 'defective' or not? Is there a difference in return policy between 'defective' and 'unwanted'?

The return policy says no returns on monitors above 37", so I'd assume the one you linked is returnable.

Our return policy is very liberal and is the best we can do to insure a customers confidence they are making a purchase they will be happy with. There are restrictions and Adam linked to our Returns Policy Page.

The Digital Cinema 31MU97-B 31" Widescreen LED Backlit IPS 4K Monitor from LG would be covered by our 30 day return period [under 37"]. The difference between '"defective" or not / "defective" and "unwanted" would be determined when you called us for an RMA to determine who pays return shipping. A monitor clearly not working as described by the manufacturer would be considered defective and a return label would be issued. Issues of colors not being to your liking is another matter which again is considered on a case by case basis and determined when you contact us.

I see no customer reviews for this monitor on our web site and the negative comments I found on Amazon involved compatibility with Mac's. Based on LG's reputation for making quality high end displays, I would consider this a great investment in your post processing pipe line.
