Problems with shipping

Hello - I recently ordered an expensive item from B+H. You shipped quickly! Thanks.

UPS was supposed to deliver it today. They parked outside. We ran down to the door, to meet the driver, who did not knock, did not ring the doorbell, and managed to put the 'you weren't here' sticker on our door before we made it down (we have a two level and the door is very close to the street).

I find this a bit off-putting - having to stay home to wait for the delivery person who doesn't even ring the doorbell before sprinting off! Is there anything you can do from your end? Arrange saturday delivery? Today delivery? I would really be annoyed if I had to take another day off of work!

Harumph!

Happy with B+H, annoyed at UPS....

I'm very sorry for this service lapse on UPS's part. I can alert them to this but in order to proceed at all I need the B&H order number, here or to henryp[at]bhphoto.com.
