Price changes?

I'm wondering what the price drop policy is at B&H. I bought a camera bundle there less than a week ago, and now the price has dropped $15. Not a huge thing, but I'm wondering what the policy is on stuff like that. At BestBuy they used to meet the new price with a store credit.

BTW, it was a great price on the K-50 two WR lens bundle. Thank you! I can't get too upset given it beat Costco and Amazon (Amazon has since dropped the price to match B&H, or vice versa. Are we gonna online price adjusting on cameras like what Amazon does, with almost by the hour fluctuations?

Hello,

We do not have a formal price drop policy but within the 30 day return period we are happy to look into a price change. As you've pointed out, the market is very competitive and the manufacturers have employed what is called "Unilateral Minimum Retail Price Policy". This basically puts a limit to how low an authorized dealer can price an manufacturers products. Pentax [Rioch] has such arrangements with their dealers. There are times when a price does drop and we can accommodate such a request. Other times, a time sensitive promotion may be used where by we would not be able to adjust the price if purchased outside of this purchase window [rebates or instant savings are good examples]. Please contact our Customer Service Dept with your order number and an agent can look into this for you.
