Trade-in/Used & required legal ID

I’m sending B&H a used camera for which I got an online quote to sell to B&H. I see that I have to include a copy of my driver’s license or passport, for identification purposes. Is it OK if I cover the actual license/passport number and birthdate/height/weight on the license/passport copy, for obvious security/ID theft reasons? (The license, for example, would still show name and address.) Thanks much for your answer..

I checked with our Used Dept and they said it was OK to cover some of the details you mentioned.
