What happens to returned defective lenses?

Howdy B&H,

I had to return two copies of the DA 16-85 for poor decentering. I'm curious - what happens to these? I'm assuming you ship it back to the manufacturer? Do you pass our defect comments from the RMA order on with the item?

Defective products are sent back to the source from which we received them. Some are receptive to feedback on individual items and others are not.
