Hiking backpack?

I've long been an advocate of purchasing an actual hiking backpack and using an insert to carry and protect camera gear.

However, most "day packs" (say, 25-30 liters) with a secondary compartment cannot accommodate a lens such as the 60-250.

Recently, I've seen several companies getting pretty close to the ideal bag. Manfrotto did a near-perfect bag with their 30L Off road hiker, but for some reason left out the possibility of using a water pouch. Lowepro have the Flipside Trek, but the camera compartment appears too big compared to the rest of the bag, and the mesh back appears to be more of a gimmick than anything else (and the bag is heavy). the Peak Design backpack is superb and well designed, but is more urban, with no mesh back and no dedicated water pouch compartment either (the laptop compartment could serve, however).

Is there somewhere a backpack with

a mesh back
a water bladder compartment
not too heavy
Capable of holding a DSLR with regular lens attached (think 16-85) and a 60-250 on the side? (compact primes are almost sure to fit)
Room for non-photography stuff

Like you, I found packs that had some of your features but not all. Here are a few that caught my eye:

You no longer need to remove your pack to get items with the gray and black Mt. Pickett 18 Backpack from PAXIS. This bag features ARC Swing Technology, a unique system that swings a shuttle pod right to the front of the wearer. Just tug on the adjustable release to initiate this action. After you've grabbed your gear, simply swing the shuttle pod back in place and continue on your way. It carries up to 5 pounds and has an exterior mesh pocket, interior zippered pocket and built-in wallet.

Say goodbye to airport checkpoint hassles with the classic black Club Bag Flight-Smart Tech Backpack and Bento Box Bundle from Gruv Gear. This convenient package provides the comfortable, versatile backpack along with full-length and half-length Bento Box Mini Cases that slide right inside it. A gem for travelers, this kit will allow you to hold all sorts of gear and personal items and enjoy quick, easy access to everything.
