I contacted Ricoh USA support a few days ago to inquire about the availability of some small (easily lost) bits (which I have, in fact, lost).
I told then I was looking for:
1. Hot shoe cover FK
2. Small white plastic interface pins cap for D-BG6 battery grip
3. Small black rubber connector cap for terminal on the bottom of K-1 II camera body
With the exception of hot shoe cover FK (which shows "no longer available" on B&H website), I don't believe any of these items have ever been available to order by the consumer. Ricoh's response to me was to simply send me a PDF list of authorized retailers (including B&H) and tell me that any dealer could order any "accessory" even if they did not carry it in stock. I wrote back to Ricoh USA and pointed out that I didn't believe that these were accessories that could be ordered at a retailer, but simply very small bits of rubber or plastic. I have not heard a second response from them in several days, so my question is this: can B&H obtain these little bits for me, since I am getting no help from Ricoh USA? I'm going to place an order at B&H today, so it would be great if this request could be included somehow. Thanks!
