Ultra High Resolution Film

QuoteQuote:
Bluefire® Police™ is an ultra-high-resolution 35mm film and developer combination, originally formulated for surveillance photography, identification, and documentation. It can be enlarged beyond the resolution limits of your lenses without losing detail to grain.

Bluefire (according to the maker, David Foy) is derived from microfilm stock (Tura or Agfa depending on which post you read...or maybe they are the same?). Think of it as being similar to the late and very much lamented Kodak Technical Pan. There is a thread on the Rangefinder Forum that includes photos of the thin and very curly negatives.

I would be curious as to how it behaves in comparison to the Rollei ATP (based on Agfa microfilm product).

Note that the adox.net Internet domain name is owned by Adox Fotowerke, Inc., of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, which manufactures and markets products under the Bluefire brand.

About Adox

They are not related to the German Adox, though they do own the rights to the name in Canada. They sell their products through the "Frugal Photographer" Web site (see OP, above). They are most famous for being one of the few places where you can buy 127 color negative film (sold under the Bluefire name).
