Hello good people.
I recently bought a pack of old Fuji Reala that expired 15 years ago and might not been stored properly throughout it's life. Usually I just store film in the closet and it turns out fine, but in this case I think a different approach might be needed.
I have regular everyday things in my house, no film storage fridge or nothing similar, so what do you think I should do with the film (before using it of course)?

If you have enough room in a fridge, put it in there. But if it was stored in a room temperature for 15 years, it really does not matter now. Use it as a 50 ASA film (overexpose it), because it might have lost its sensitivity over the years... but the results might still be unpredictable.

For any new film I buy I always store it in the fridge.

For long term storage the film goes in plastic freezer bags and then in the freezer. For film that I will use in the next few months I store it in the fridge.

When I run out of “fridge” film, I move some down from the freezer.

Film taken from the fridge needs to warm up an hour at room temperature before you load it.
