Holga 400

I've just developed my first roll of Holga 400, shot @ 400ISO and developed in Rodinal. I've read a number of poor reviews of it online so I wasn't expecting great results. I was pleasantly impressed when I pulled it out of the tank! The grain is pretty tight, good contrast and nice character in my opinion. I scratched it a little bit, I think I wouldn't squeegee it next time. I think I'll buy more of this stuff for general purpose walk about photography, especially for darker lighting and in the woods.

Much of the allure of Holga is the promise of "offbeat" results.
I guess sometimes they just can't deliver...
