Photo Labs Near Upstate NY Area

Well this suddenly jumped to me. I am currently living in Upstate NY and I send all my films to Dwayne's Photo in Kansas for development and scan. Are there any labs that are equally good but closer for developing and scanning C-41 and E-6 films? I want to save some shipping cost.

Sincerely

Have you seen this one? Old School Photo Lab - Film Processing, It's what we do! It's pretty close to you and it seems that they include shipping, but charge extra for scanning. They process both slide and negative. thedarkroom.com have free scanning and charge about $5 for shipping (50c extra for each roll). So it depends on how much you need to process at once and whether you can digitize the film yourself.

and fun fact: where I currently live, in Ithaca, there is not a single place that processes film on-site, all pharmacies send it out...

Where in Upstate NY? Johnson Camera in Syracuse still has a lab as far as I know.

Woohoo - another Pentaxian in Ithaca!

[The lack of film processing in Ithaca drove me out of using film years ago. I miss film, a little, but not too much]

Saratoga Springs, and I would be fine for either onsite or in-state shipping.

It's not very close, but Rowe Photo in Rochester processes film.

Another Rochester option is Praus Productions, Inc.. I'm nowhere near NY but E-6 labs are getting harder and harder to find, so my last batch went to them. Quick service, no complaints from me; they have a strong reputation over on the large format forum.
