No, it happened. They made some for themselves for "testing," but no one who paid has received one as far as I know.

Am I glad that I've purchased an Afga Rondinax instead of waiting for this Kickstarter?

It has its limitation but, for someone like me who shoots a few rolls of B/W per month, it's a real treat.
You can't beat its ease of use, they didn't nicknamed it "The Rolls Royce of daylight tanks" for nothing.
The only down side is the premium price because it's scarce.

I have its less known American clone the Loadomat 20. I’ve never tried it as I don’t have any 120 cameras but I figured I’d buy one eventually.

Well it is on the market now. No way I would pay $200 for this, it is so easy to load one roll of film into a Paterson reel and tank even in a changing bag.

Money better spent on film

After near two years, it finally shipped. Just got it yesterday and ran a roll through it.

Is it worth $200? Maybe. Maybe not. It was definitely worth the $100 I spent on the 135 & 120 module version. Depends on how much you develop and your workflow. If you're a hybrid shooter that intends to develop then scan, it may be worth it. If you're a high volume shooter, probably not. There is much to say about not needing a dark room or changing bag.

It does exactly what it says it would. Easy to use. Fast to load. Small learning curve.

But for perspective, I think in 1980, a GAF tank was about $18 and a changing bag was $10. Adjusted for inflation thats about $87 today. I almost definitely would have spend the 2X plus amount in high school for not having to use a changing bag.

you know I both the Rondinax 60 and the afga 35u . both are really easy to use. Having said that if you use a film picker and pullout the film just a little or just dont rewind it all the way on manual cameras . Then you can cut the film clean across and the angle the sides for 35mm , the you cand load right from the film canister into the loading reel in the dark bag just like it loads into the afga.

Now that it's been a while outside, did any of you that use the Lab-box had good steady results with it? or is it easy to ruin some film with it?
