Gepe plastic slide mounts

Took some 35mm E6 into my local lab for processing & mounting and was told they ran out of the Gepe plastic slide mounts for their machine and are unable to get anymore.

They said Gepe is no longer making them????

A bit of a bummer as I had to send the processed uncut strips to another lab for cardboard mounting.

That sounds strange. In Sweden frames are still available and on GEPE's homepage (GEPE - Slide Mounts) there is no mentioning of any production stop.

My guess is that the consumer slide mounts (box of 100) you are looking at have not been discontinued.

A film lab that does 1000's of mounts would get a different "bulk" product, depending on the Lab's mounting machine. Those I guess are the ones that got discontinued, ordering small boxes of 100 mounts is probably not an option for a film Lab.
