I sent Bellows an email, but have yet to hear back from them. I noticed on their site they mention ECN-2 film and charge extra for it, but nowhere do they state that they actually process in ECN-2 chemicals. It’s possible they may be cross-processing in C41 like everyone else and charging extra for the step of remjet removal.

They charge "extra" for ECN-2 because it is not plain vanilla C-41. Your thought is interesting.

The formula for ECN-2 is well known, basic color neg stuff plus the remjet removal prebath. It uses CD-3 developer, which went the way of the dodo bird many years ago. C-41 uses CD-4, I believe.

I spoke with Bellows today. They’re extremely good people to speak with and very enthusiastic about film.

They do, in fact, process ECN-2 film in ECN-2 chemistry. I was told they use the ECN-2 processing kits from Quiet We’re Dreaming.

Havent used him, so I dont know how the quality is, but the price is pretty good.

Ultrafineonline has some for ~$108 on their website (here: Ultrafine MotiPix Motion Picture Eastman Kodak Film Stocks for Still Cameras (ECN-2 Process) - Color Films).

FYI, the first 2 rows of 36exp &100' bulk rolls is the current Vision3 version of the film, the other films they have on there is the older Vision 2 & EXR versions, it will say which is which on in the description.

I have a buch of 50D a friend gave me and a few 24exp rolls of 500T (got some cheap from here: https://www.dirtcheapfilm.com/shoppingcart/p/500t-hand-rolled-24exp-35mm) I bought online last year in the freezer, havent gotten a chance to shoot any of it yet, partially due having bad anxiety & been having some issues with my left foot. Hopefully my foot will heal up enough in the few weeks & Im gonna go out & shoot some rolls of each.

PS: Ultrafineonline does have a ebay store (here: | eBay) and a Etsy store (here: Ultrafine - Etsy) where they have some of their more oddball films & multipacks of various films, the USPS shipping is a bit cheaper on those 2 sites compared to their own site
