Ilford PanF hands down. I always wanted to try Fuji Velvia because I always like the way it did greens and blues from pictures I saw from other people but still haven't gotten around to it. I always found the Kodak color films to be too strong in reds and oranges for my liking but they do produce nice results for fall colors.

If you sent me to a desert island, I'd hope that somehow some Kodachrome could accompany me. Guess I'd need a development lab to join me!

so far my TMAX100 rolls have turned out the best. PanF+ is a close second. For color, Velvia 50.

Colour: Fuji Provia 100F (All time favourite is still Kodachrome, when the new Ektachrome is available that will be the new number one)
B&W: Fomapan R100

Phil.

Color, Provia 100F and Ektar by far. The tests from the new Ektachrome look great though, can’t wait to try it myself.

Black and white, I’ve always like Tri-X and Ilford Delta 3200. I want to try the Ferrania P50 eventually.

Good to see this variety, everyone likes different emulsions!
Also you came up with some new for me emulsions which I would like to try.

I like cheap, and I've shot more Fujifilm C200 than anything else.

For B & W, I'd probably choose T-max 100.

In school I've shot mostly with Arista Premium 400, and only a roll of Kodak Tri-X 400 which I didnt like that much at first, though I need to run through a few more rollsof it to make a definitive decision.

Right now looking to get a bulk roll of Kentmere 100 & see how I like it, so far I've liked what Ive seen online.

You should see no difference between the two films - unless Kodak has reformulated Tri-X again!

Ahh ok, didn't know that. I knew the Arista was a rebadged film but didnt know it was from Kodak.

My favourite is Fuji 160NS, which was discontinued a while back. I don't think I've got any more stashed away

B&W: PanF+ (Delta 400 for low light)
Color: Ektar or Portra depending on subject. (Waiting impatiently for the new Ektachrome)

I only shoot b&w. I think my favourite film is Ilford FP4+ developed in Rodinal.
