arista edu 4000/ foma actin 400

tried doing shots with my macro lens,, couldnt get the red flag on canon ftb to sync so went to 800 iso and just used the needle as an idea... developed eco pro,, got a few images that worked..

developed 10 minutes, first minute was slow constant agitation,,, then 15 seconds per minute.

alot of the frames were washy and light, could be lens setting, but its the whole strip..

I fear this needs a bit more explanation and clarification in all steps. So the negatives look light, i.e. underexposed?

Assuming you had the ability, adding exposure time would have been a better move vs. pushing a stop. Don't know if you developed to push or not. Foma 400 is on the ragged edge of under-developed at stock times anyway if you rate it at EI 400. Would suggest setting ISO at 250 or whatever is close on that camera and meter there. Maybe even 200.

Share a scan of a frame in question to help get better answers.

yeah most of them look light going by standards in the brown book of photography by horenstien.

The first frames i tried at high shutter speed, completely clear, others are simply lights. Some issues from not getting the lens focused properly are visible now that the film has dried. The lens is an odd one, to many ways to set the macro function
