Actually, 2 of my 4 kids have an interest in photography. I will probably teach them to use it and let them shoot with it.
Beth, good choice. I haven't had many cameras, but I was attached to them all and was silly enough to let them, go as I upgraded. My adult son is now a keen photographer, doing great work, and he could have started fifteen years earlier if I had kept my old gear! (Hand-me-down Practika IV, to Konica Autoreflex, to Pentax MZ50, to *istDS) (The Practika had a f2.9 Meyer Meritar lens - probably one element in one group!! LOL - But a great learning tool)
