I pre-ordered from Amazon, so that doesn't really mean that they've arrived here (Amazon's HQ is here, but it shipped from AZ), but I wouldn't be too surprised to see the K-5/K-r show up at the Fry's in Renton (just south of Seattle proper) before the end of the year. They've had the K-7 and K-x (and before that the K2000/K-m) on display for quite some time now. They're only place I've seen Pentax cameras on retail display so far.

Central part, near the Sound & out towards Mukilteo. Everett gets a bad rap sometimes but I like my neighborhood. Puts me in a great spot that's equidistant to much of the Cascades & Olympics.

We used to own a restaurant in Mulkiteo (Thrashers Corner) early 80s.

I have not heard that Adam has the copy for review yet. By the time all the sites can issue reviews it may be old news. Isn't this unusual for samples to be unavailable to reviewers even after consumers have started buying them?

Sorry I clicked by error, I thought it was where you live and didn't read the "Own" bit very well... I am not the first to have a K5 in Australia - however will have one in 6 months (assuming the price dropping trend occurs..)
