I received my K5 today and was wondering what some people would suggest for recommended camera settings. I realize this is probably more of a personal preference but this is all new to me and I was looking through the menus and there are a lot of options it looks pretty intense. I will be anxious when Magic Lantern makes a K5 video. I was reading though the manual but it isn't all that great.

i usually have +1 on brightness and saturation.

usually you can just leave it all natural and change it in photoshop.

Why don't you start out with everything on the default settings. You will get good jpeg photos. Then as you become more familiar change one thing at a time to see what the effect is. If you mess up you can reset everything back to the defaults.

One of the first things I will do when I get mine is enable ISO 80 (custom menu C1.3)

Question too: I know some (all?) older electronic level sensors use a ball sliding back and forth. Is this the case in the K-5's sensors? Can you hear it?
