I hung my K-5

Never had a lock up on my K20D...or any other malfunction, but I am fully aware that such things happen....

I just answered one of my own questions. My K-5 just locked for the first time with firmware 1.01 (no grip this time, just a very low battery). On average, it locks about every other time the battery is too low. I also tried the "wait for it to come back" but after 10 minutes with the shutter wide open I had to pop the battery to recover. I will notify Pentax-US tomorrow and probably hear its the first time they ever heard of this....log it as user error.

The K20D? after 80,000 shots it has never locked once.
