Prom season is upon us.

My son just graduated from high school. Prom was last night, and of course this presented some great photo opportunities.

These were all shot with my Pentax 20-40 Limited.

I tell you, the ability to zoom from group shots to portraits -- all with excellent IQ -- really makes this lens one of my favorites.

I had the 50-135 in my bag for more formal portraits, but never used it.

Frederic, the 999th, King of petals, stamens, and other flower parts has did it again. Now with some lunar and bird image for a little variation. As usual, on top.

TroutHunterJoan, congrats for your boy, and for your pics. This lens is really sharp, and useful.

Right on the money, JD. Went out to look at my roses, which are just beginning to make their presence felt, and found this amazing creature. Even more amazing, it was still there after I ran in to get my K5 II s and A 50 macro.

What an interesting creature. I look to this sign on his head. It's an Ford? A Honda? Or what...?
