Wow damn, Pentax really did put out a camera that 'gives FF a run for their money'

Now I just need a time machine and buy it at the current K-7 price

Warning:

I hope you all realize that those beautiful shots are also a result of the photographers' skills !?

Cheers.

I think with the K5 you can't blame your equipment any more for bad photos!

One I took today K5/DA35mm 2.8 ltd. A brilliant combination for Macro work.

BE WARNED : NOT FOR THE WEAK STOMACH.

All at iso 4000 + WR kitlens

The camera was wet as hell after my walkabout, didn't miss a beat though.

All very nice shots, no visible noise in any that I can see. I assume that most of the shots were hand held. If so good SR and a steady hand. I think that the K5 is a great camera. Pentax is just getting better with each issue. It's apparently a great walk-around camera in any weather.

Sugar needs to participate in our "Your Pet A Day" thread!

Here's Zoe:

200.0mm, 1/500sec, F/6.3, ISO5000 w/some PP, and content-aware fill at the right margin to get rid of the deck railing:

A testament to the AF and the very usable ISO 6400 and high dynamic range...I was able to get good focus, stop the action on a dim, cloudy day in the woods with a slow lens, and still maintain the dynamic range necessary to keep the snow from blowing out WHILE capturing details of a black dog.

Try this at home.
