Well to be fair they are called Wood Pigeons! Now try for WillowWarblers.

After a long weekend of shooting with a K-5 back in November, I came away really liking the camera, but feeling that I was unable to justify the cost of keeping both a Pentax (K-5) and Canon (5D Mark II) system. So I continued shooting with the 5D Mark II, capturing good photos, but all the while missing the K-5. Finally, I decided this weekend that I would pick up another K-5 plus a couple of prime lenses, and shoot with that. I did that yesterday, and was thrilled with the results. The small size of the K-5 and lenses, along with the excellent image quality (especially rendered color) has me ready to sell my Canon gear, and make the switch to Pentax for good.

One of my first shots taken with my new K-5 Limited Silver, of my daughter yesterday evening:

Pentax K-5 Silver, Pentax 77mm f/1.8 @ f/3.5, ISO 100, 1/400

A couple of other quick flower shots, in lower light:

Bumblebee tongue.
K-5, FA-50 (a macro would have been great, but the 50 was on as I was out doing something completely different)

This is such a fun thread! I love the winking dog!

Two from a lunch-time walk, taken with my replacement K5. Not only does it not have any stains, it doesn't have the strange, intermittent AF problem my first one had. I couldn't be happier.

These were taken with the manual focus Vivitar Series One 105 macro lens.

K5 does a beautiful job! That's a camera that I'm going to have to afford some day. If not the K5 then it's more capable sibling, when it arrives and my finances approve.
