Rondec-- A lovely set...the light was especially kind to you in the middle capture, though again the foreground in the last picture is just wonderful.

Another question if I may: what metering mode do you find most useful for scenes like, say, "Sun and Fence Post"? I'd think that center-weighted would do, although that post itself is almost a ready made "gray card" if you wanted to spot meter off of it.

Yes, I did spot meter off of the fence post, although I shot five exposures and ended up using the -2 EV one for processing, since it had the best sky and enough detail left in the field to work with.

Thank you. Your pics are out of this world stunning. I'll have to give it a shot but I think I may need a TC or something. I don't know if my 105mm can get this type of macro.

I have looked on eBay for a Soligor 20mm f2.8, but not found one yet, i may trawl through some op-shops and cash converter shops, see what i can find, i also like the shots from a kiron 105mm macro lens.
