PDCU will only edit Pentax photographs. You MUST import your photographs directly to your Hard Disk using the SD card (and card reader) or USB cable. Do not edit/modify the photographs before you use PDCU.

If you need to use further dedicated software (eg NR software), do it after PDCU.

i have deleted and re installed the utitlity 3 times, and it will not even open. I get an error message :
PTXUTL40.EXE has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

i have no way of even viewing my PENTAX RAW files now!

sugestions on a fix or at least a way to see these files?
