First suggestion is to reload the program. It may not have installed correctly.

Thats unusual. I would delete it, download another copy and install from the new download.

Rick, I just downloaded the program and updated the 4.0 version and have the same problem, ie none of the tools work. At least you know its not you. If i find a solution i'll let you know.

Thanks for looking. What other programs or Picture processing web site can I go to. This is my first DSLR an I am lost as to what is out there for processing of pictures I sure there are better one's then Pentax. I will do a web search to see what I can find but if you know of any good one's please let me know. Thank you

Did you try the "S-SW90" trick?

Uninstall all Pentax programs.
Copy the EXE file on an USB stick.
Rename the USB stick to "S-SW90".
Install the program from disc (not USB).
During install the program checks if a medium with the name S-SW90 is inserted.

What's your OS?

If you reside in PC-land, you may need to run it in 'compatibility' mode. To find out how... Google the name of your OS and the term 'compatibility' for instructions.

Cheers...

I had the same problem with the utility. Solution: Pictures must! be imported with this tool from the sd-card to the disk. Otherwise the utility is not realising the pictures as PENTAX photos.
