I have the K20D with 4 D-LI90 lithium-ion batteries which I find handy and thought this would be useful when getting the K-5 which I will do soon but I noticed the D-LI90 lithium-ion battery for the K20D only has two contact plates whereas the K-5 seems to show 3 contact plates. Am I seeing wrongly or are there two different types of D-LI90 lithium-ion battery?

I think the K20D uses the D-LI50 lithium ion battery, which is identical to that used by the K10D.
The K-5 shares the same battery as the K-7, which is the D-LI90.

Yes you're right, I just rechecked my batteries. Ah well looks like I'll be spending a few more dollars.
