Strange Rear-End focus problem with my K-5

Went to a volleybal game and got the strangest problem, with the AF I have not yet read about here. Everytime I wanted to focus on the ball my K-5 just got this strange rear-end AF problem.

Have a very nice and photographic 2011

Nah....I've had the same problem with my K20D....has more to do with my right eye than the camera. You can correct it by shooting a guys game......my eye never malfunctioned a time when I did that.
Best Regards!

That actually does look a little BF. The girl on the right's shirt looks more in focus that the middle girl's rear...

Definitely no good on the beaches here on the sunny Gold Coast in Australia. Damn. Have to look for a different body then. Those ones in the pic look good. What brand are they.

Well the first picture isn't visable anymore, but now my K-5 Silver suffors from the the same defective AF. It just makes it's own descision's and focusses on things I really don't want to see:

Transavia is a Dutch low cost carrier and the slogan says: "it makes you happy" they where cheerleading at the EC Beachvolleybal and a professional dancingteam from Malaga Spain.

Should I send my K-5 Silver in for repair?

Yes Ron I see what you mean, I can't see a ball insight.

I may have to book a flight to see if my K-5 reacts in the same manner. Its a shame when things just don't go right..

Ron, if it keeps on doing this I don't think you will have any problem selling it!
