I am about to buy a K 5 and one of the lenses I am considering is the M 75-150.

I realize the it must be stopped down to meter but if one shot wide open would you need to do anything other than press the green button. I read in one thread that
on a K10 you needed to also tell the camera the focal length

The focal length is for the SR system only, so you'd want to set that to 75mm at startup.

All you ever need to do is press the green button- it stops the lens down for you to meter.
