Your K-5 settings

Hi All -

Hope you're enjoying your K-5's as much as I am. I wanted to get some feedback on the settings you are using. I haven't really touched any of the defaults, other than turning on the Highlight Correction feature and other minor changes. What sharpness level are most of you shooting with, and have you left the noise reduction to auto? I general shoot in RAW and will tweak sharpness/noise a bit in ACR.

Thanks

If you're shooting RAW and processing your own files, there is no real need to use any of the in camera processing. It only slows you down in the form of waiting to process the JPG in camera.

I set my front focus to +10, and spots/stain removal to -1000000 Problem solved.

Seriously though. I have highlight correction off. Expanded ISO 80-52000 on. I use landscape or portrait or basic depending on the type of picture, but in general do most tweaking in Lightroom. I also set the AE to link to focus point. Other than that I've set up 5 user modes, set the Fx button to bracket mode (5 shots, +/- 2).

Omat kuvani teen RAW kuvista itselleni TIFF kuviksi.
