[langtitle=de]Right-angle Viewfinder for Pentax K-5[/langtitle]

Hello,
i'm looking for an right-angle finder for Pentax K-5. I have found some in an internet shop, but I'm not sure if that is compatible:

1. Asahi Pentax finder
2. Olympus Varimagni finder
3. Olympus VA-1

My question is, is one of these compatible with the K5 without changing what's on the camera?

Thanks in advance for your answers.

Sorry for my english, but i hope, you understand me. I speak German better than English ...

I can tell you for certain that #2, the Olympus Varimagnifier is compatible. It greatly limits your view of the entire finder though, especially at 2.5x. If you goal is real critical focus of something, it'll work fine for you.

I have the Asahi right-angle finder, left over from my Spotmatic days. It does NOT fit the Pentax DSLRs; the mount is too small.

Instead I use the Seagull right-angle finder. Not as well made as the Asahi but remarkably good for the price. Comes with adapters for a variety of cameras, including the Pentaxes. Find it here:

I also have a Asahi Pentax Right-Angle viewfinder and it fits my K-10.

It must be a later version of the right-angle finder. Mine was originally made for the H1a and H3v and fit the Spotmatic.

Kulma etsin ei auta jos joutuu kuvaamaan ruohonjuuri tasolla. joutuu silti menemään kuralammikkoon polvilleen.

When I get down to photograph the grassroots level, my aging knees go "kuralammikkoon" too.

(This is an English joke. I am not making fun of Finnish. Not when I love nisu so much.)

I have something that looks basically exactly like the #2 one and it fits on my k200d. It only has a mirror though, so the image is reversed. I also need to vastly adjust the diopter when I put it on and switch magnifications though. Maybe I'm doing something wrong.

Sounds like you are doing it correctly.

Does anyone have experience with this Seagull 1x-2x Right Angle Finder? The reviews at Amazon are pretty good:

Lol, yes, I just changed my question to ask about that. Is the image upside down? Thanks.
